Carol A. Meadors, M.A.

Purpose Statement:  To be an instrument of peace, love, and joy while helping others in their process of awareness, self-discovery, and well being.

Carolyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor (Colorado-1454) and certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) specialist (EMDR Institute), having earned the Master of Arts degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.  Additional areas of specialization include emotional mastery therapy and innovative online virtual experiences to facilitate emotional freedom and personal development.  Carolyn served in a long-term capacity as clinical director of a residential treatment program for displaced, at-risk adolescents.  She was instrumental in launching child placement agencies, transitional programs, and independent living programs for these disenfranchised youth.  Her work history over the past fifteen years included developing programs of discipleship, mentorship, and leadership training for post-secondary students, having established these training programs throughout the nation.    

Carolyn’s international outreach includes encouraging and equipping people in diverse regions of the world—Central and South America, Canada, the Caribbean, Russia, South Africa, along with numerous onsite locations in Europe.  

Personal Development trainings are conducted, nationally and internationally. Carolyn married Raymond Meadors in 1972 and they are parents of two married daughters, one adult son, along with five grandchildren.  Carolyn and Raymond reside in Denver, Colorado, surrounded by the incomparable Rocky Mountains.

Carolyn and Raymond are founding directors of Life Focus, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, based on their commitment to encourage individuals and couples to live “Above and Beyond . . .”  They fulfill this vision through teaching, counseling, coaching, e-mentoring, conducting enrichment seminars and, through publishing materials designed to enhance quality of life.  Internet utilization is an integral part of Life Focus’ current format for providing services.
